Winter sightseeing > 1st. Photo Damico

Guests are warmly forbidden to photograph in Gardens ... even to call or answer by cell phone. This MEDIA FREE ZONE taboo would permit a better appreciation of the site and the present ... say Space and Time, not to say the dangers of tramping plants or fallings steps.

Photo recording is usually mine. I don't like to portrait people...

plants and artifacts are quite more quiet subjects. I'm anyway not  a professional photograper... no more than a professional gradener.

So that, I share the photo task with my friend Costa Damico, who is far more photographer and gardener than I may be. Costa comes often into Gardens, he shots sometimes photos at his own pleasure and I rarely give suggestions.

Several pictures of Damico will be collected and published in specific posts on this Blog... also avoiding the due task of labellng every single pic with photo credits, as before..

Name and Form
Ben Paterson, a reputated Fluxus artist, said that "Beauty lurks in the eye of the beholder". As Uncle Ben, I also avoid to be engaged  into any rating of beauty... and of art by the way.
So that Gardens artifacts are unnamed and unlabelled on the spot as well as on this Blog, preventing to identify them as works of so-called art: stairs might be a statuary group as well as pedestrian steps, merely worked out from scrap material. On the other side, aesthetical choices are always unavoidable in Nature, human or not.

For similar reasons, People and Plants are usually unnamed in Gardens. Should I identify everyone or friends and VIPs  only?

Respect the naming of plants, it wuold be often beyond my knowledge.
