You
surely know the tale of the Sultan, that ordered a carpet shaped as his beloved
gardens, as he could not visit them during bad seasons.
On the
contrary and on my humble side, I converted myself from rugs to gardens.
So that,
I myself weave a graden as an extra large carpet (mt. 20x20), a bit more
libertarian than that one of the Sultan... and
a mera-textile work, I would say.
I hope
sometimes we'll sip a cup of tea, sitting together on that fresh and smooth
grass pile.

Caro AB,
tu saprai certamente quella storia del Sultano, che si
era fatto tessere un tappeto fatto ad immagine e somiglianza del suo giardino,
che lui non amava frequentare d'inverno.
Nel mio piccolo, al contrario, da tessitore mi son fatto
giardiniere. E però me lo tesso da me come fosse un enorme tappeto, di metri 20
x 20, solo più anarchico di quello del Sultano.... meta-tessile, direi. Spero
che un giorno ci sorseggeremo un tè sopra il fresco velluto vegetale.
